Our Private Guides & Drivers
Regardless of your travel destination, Japan, Burma, India, France, Italy, Cape Town, Peru, New Zealand, et.al., the most critical part of your custom tour is your day-to-day private guide and driver. We are grateful for the number of high-quality and knowledgeable guides we use throughout the world. Recent client feedback gives high praise to Ms. Izumi-san in Kyoto, Xavier in Peru, Olga in St. Petersburg, Christine and Sonny in China, Ms. Moo in Bangkok, and Ms. Ming in Luang Prabang, Shruti in India, Isadora (Puma Lady) in Patagonia, Tudor in Romania, Felicia and Luciano in Italy, Jean Manuel and Marie-Laure in France, Alejandro and Ms. Piedad in Argentina/Chile – too numerous to name and a heartfelt thanks to all!
International Air & Special Aircraft Arrival
We are proud of our long-standing 20+ year history with United Airlines. Throughout the vicissitudes of the ever-changing international air travel market, UA has been a steadfast supporter, particularly in terms of servicing our valued Global Services members. Extending its worldwide reach through the quality airlines of the STAR ALLIANCE (include All Nippon Airways, Air New Zealand, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, et.al.), UA has become a vital partner in engaging our clients’ global international premium class air needs.
Luxurious Accommodations
We are proud of the close, supportive relationships we have with our many global service providers, including the most exclusive hotels/ryokans/resorts/safari camps/vessels in the world. Although we are big fans of the more recognizable global 5-star brands, including Aman, Peninsula, Four Seasons, Mandarin, Oberoi, et.al., we opt for the more locally-based boutique luxury hotels/lodges where available (e.g., La Bastide de Marie – Provence, Gora Kadan – Hakone, Metropole Legend – Hanoi, JK Place – Florence & Capri, Grand Hotel d’ Angkor – Siem Reap, Algodon Mansion – Buenos Aires, Explora Patagonia – Chile, Mombo & Abu Camps – Botswana). In contrast to the pretentiousness of many 5-Star properties, please note our description of Kyoto’s Tawaraya and Hiiragiya ryokans – an understated sense of wabi-sabi centered service and culture unmatched by conventional western standards. Kipling & Clark recommends properties/vessels used from our many Lynch Family/Staff travels.
Extraordinary Experiences: Bespoke and High-Touch
Experiential travel is what we do best; offering you custom activities and memories that will last a lifetime. A few examples include private geisha (maiko/geiko) entertainment, sunrise Buddhist private blessing ceremony, private elephant conservation and welfare experiences, luxury tenting in the Sahara, Vatican night tours, private tea ceremony at noted Kyoto temple, Helicopter flyovers in Angkor Wat and Bagan. Private cooking classes and home-hosted dinners, sumo wrestling practice sessions + many more…
Personal Photography
Based on our past Lynch family global travels, we found traveling with a quality local photographer to be a big benefit/resource in capturing special family moments in unique and/or remote destinations. A few of our favorites are Florence-based Alessandro Michelazzi, Brice Toul in Provence, Kamal Wadafi in Morocco and Eric de Vries in Cambodia. Regardless of the continent visited, we are happy to offer this personalized service.
Visa Services
Though visas are not required for U.S. citizens traveling to most countries in Europe, Africa and South America, we provide “Visa on Arrival” services to various countries in Southeast Asia, as well as China.
Travel Guard
We have used Wisconsin-based Travel Guard, an AIG Insurance company, for many years in providing a wide range of travel insurance services for global private travel. We encourage our clients to purchase travel insurance on their own, or we can assist in linking you to a quote from AIG.

Our Private Tour Pricing Guidelines
Please note that we offer a comprehensive private tour cost, including private guides and drivers throughout, all luxury accommodations, all internal private transfers, all internal rail and flights, meals per individual itinerary, and all taxes and service fees.
By agreement with our various suppliers worldwide, we are unable to provide line by line pricing breakdowns. A key requirement among our suppliers is that we may only quote their rates as part of an overall private tour package price.
