Switzerland & Italy Private Tour

Why You Should Go

A combined adventure to Switzerland and Italy offers countless opportunities for visitors to enjoy a vast array of experiences in one exciting adventure. Switzerland is a land that simply cannot be condensed into words, mesmerizing travelers with the magic that is snowcapped mountains and pristine alpine vistas. The dual ability to please the avid skier with impressive slopes and world-class trails while also housing some of the greatest spas and wellness facilities in the world is unparalleled. The unique charm that each Swiss city exudes in its own special way is an experience that each visitor will never forget! Bordering Switzerland conveniently to the south is similarly wonderous Italy. The captivating culture here is so strong that there is an entire portion of Switzerland that speaks the language and fully adapts to Italian culture (you can learn more about this by CLICKING HERE). This influence is, not so surprisingly, globally powerful due to the history of this fascinating country. As you enter the northern lake region, it will become obvious to you why artists and poets have been inspired by this area for centuries.  Contrasting the typical visits to Rome, Venice, Tuscany, Amalfi Coast, etc., the northern region of Italy is often overlooked. We feel the Italian Alps/Lakes to be some of the most scenic areas of anywhere in Italy, please CLICK HERE to read our Italian Lake District blog. During your visit, you will be spellbound by the juxtaposed version of Italy, while maintaining the delicious food, historic significance, and iconic art that Italy promises to each guest it welcomes. We feel a journey combining both of these fabulous destinations will fulfill your craving for all things incredible!

Located outside Interlaken in Adelboden, a Sound of Music-esque haven, the brand-new Brecon is a 5-star mountain chalet accommodation. The property is set at a high altitude amidst the Swiss Alps, surrounded by 186 miles of skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking trails. We adore the sleek minimalist interior style, once described in the Financial Times as “filtered through a Scandi-Japanese lens.” The Brecon features 18 rooms and four suites adorned with coffered timber ceilings, slate floors, hand-woven blankets and rugs, marble tables, leather chairs, and cozy fireplaces. In addition to offering a variety of outdoor activity excursions among the Alps, luxury amenities include an all-day dining menu offering fresh, locally sourced cuisine as well as a stunning indoor-outdoor spa, featuring an indoor sauna and steam room with glass walls that reveal the Adelboden Massif mountains, an outdoor heated pool overlooking the mountains, and a relaxation room for massage and facial treatments.

With over 100 years of history, this Art Nouveau palace in the heart of Lake Como has unparalleled views of Bellagio and the Gringe Mountains. Established in 1910, this seven-story hotel maintains its lure just as when 19th-century aristocrats descended upon its old world charm. Each of its 90 rooms and suites boast incredible views that look out over Lake Como to the town of Bellagio. Unique to the Tremezzo, at turndown, one not only finds chocolates but also written extracts from old diaries which add to the dramatic setting. Numerous dining options can be found on the property, ranging from upscale Italian cuisine at La Terrazza or T Beach restaurant to a more casual pizza bar in the gardens. For a relaxing afternoon, we suggest enjoying the “water on water” floating pool that rests on the lake’s surface.
