Luxury Safari Botswana, Victoria Falls/Zambezi & Cape Town

Local Time

Why You Should Go

We were thrilled to discover newly launched flight routes that now offer seamless travel between Victoria Falls, the Okavango Delta, and Chobe National Park – three of our favorite safari destinations in all of Africa.

Our comprehensive luxury African safari spans Cape Town, the Zambezi River (bordering Zambia & Zimbabwe), and multiple regions of Botswana, offering a truly unforgettable experience for all wildlife lovers. With a meticulously constructed conservation program, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Okavango Delta in Botswana is perhaps the best region in Africa to see the likes of African bush elephants, black and white Rhinos, spotted hyenas, and African wild dogs to name a few! Victoria Falls River Lodge’s unique location on the Zambezi River allows for ample wildlife viewing, fishing, and, of course, a hike or helicopter fly-over at the stunning Victoria Falls.

A highlight of this multi-country private safari is Chobe National Park, Botswana’s first national park and home to the largest concentration of African elephants in the world (around 120,000-150,000). Daily game drives offer the chance to view these majestic animals in the wild, while sunset cruises on the Chobe River allow for relaxing encounters with water buffalo, hippopotamuses, and other wildlife along the water’s edge.

Dependent on seasonality, this comprehensive private tour cost is upward of USD 5-6K per couple per day.

Best Travel Time: Spring Summer

*All of our comprehensive private tour itineraries are inclusive of all luxury accommodations, private guide/driver throughout, daily meals as specified, INTERNAL flights/rail /private transfers as needed, & all taxes/service fees.

Chief’s Camp is yet another example of the many luxury safari camps to choose from in the predator-rich Okavango Delta. Set in the Moremi Game Reserve, Chief’s Camp is made up of 101,500 sq. feet of luxury bush pavilions and one suite, all with private decks with plunge pools, as well as indoor and outdoor showers (using the outdoor showers in this remote, pristine environment is truly exhilarating!) We particularly like the pavilion’s polished teakwood floors, insect-proof netted windows and colorful batik fabrics. Other amenities include a new spa treatment room, a small pool, and picturesque dining area/observation deck. Based on the Chief’s location overlooking a large lagoon on the northwest tip of Chief’s Island, many mokoro (canoe/boat) game excursions are a continuing fun activity in the summer! Chief’s extraordinary location and wildlife-rich Moremi Island allows for game-viewing to include all of the “Big 5” (African lions, elephants, Cape buffalo, and rhino) hence, our choice as a prime family safari site. Chief’s renovation includes 10 luxury bush pavilions (in effect like small cottages), all with private terrace plunge pools, 462 sq. feet!
