Our Approach

Kipling & Clark’s first priority is the safety and health of our clients. We are following WHO, CDC, and Department of State guidelines when advising our clients of future travel. The vast majority of our summer 2020 private tour bookings have been moved to comparable dates in 2021, with no penalties.

Our staff is working remotely and available during normal business hours via email. Please feel free to reach out to Randy directly at or on his cell phone at (312) 351-3121 if you have any questions or concerns regarding currently booked trips or possible future bookings. Randy and the Kipling and Clark staff are all completely accessible during this time!

In terms of the global travel industry, our many private guides, hotels, and various suppliers have been temporarily idled. We consider our Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America suppliers to be dear, close friends and an extension of our Lynch tribe/Kipling & Clark family.  We also wish the very best to our many supportive friends at our home-time carrier, United Airlines–we love you all and look forward to better days ahead!

Future Travel

At this stage, it is unclear how the pandemic will evolve and for how long worldwide travel restrictions will remain in place. We will continue to monitor the situation per the advice of global health authorities and government agencies and continue to remain in close contact with our suppliers around the globe to get first-hand information regarding this situation. The following is an overview of what we might be able to expect in the coming months in regard to global travel:

January – July 2020: No travel is recommended.

August – December 2020: Possible pockets of travel, conditional on COVID-19 containment progress.

January – December 2021: Worldwide travel hopeful, contingent on COVID-19 vaccine development.

Ultimately, completely safe global travel may only be attained when a viable vaccine is widely available.  When achieved, this will be a truly momentous and joyous moment!
