Global Private Travel Snapshot
Greetings friends, clients, and trusted global suppliers!
On my way today to otherworldly Patagonia (both Chile and Argentina), with stops at our favorite high-touch, luxury lodges, including Singular Patagonia, Explora Patagonia, and Eolo/El Calafete. Among my picturesque treks are the Perito Moreno Glacier, the Base Torres Hike, and El Chalten, as well as others at Torres del Paine National Park.
Another plus on this trip is that it will be my first experience on United’s new Polaris Business Class as I travel from Houston to Santiago.
I will duly circle back in two weeks with our Patagonia updates!

Our fun, custom cookie treats for our friends at the Singular Lodge, Explora Lodge, and Eolo Patagonia. Many thanks to cookie maven, Margaret, at “The Sweets Gallery” in Chicago!

Singular Patagonia

The luxury, 57-room Singular Patagonia Hotel is located in the Chilean Patagonia on the shore of the Senoret Channel, a 5-minute drive from the town of Puerto Natales. Strategically located at the end of the “Ultima Esperanza Sound,” we feel it is the ideal first gateway point to many areas in/around Torres del Paine. Set in a National Historic Landmark, the site of early 20th Century meatpacking plants, its conversion to a 5-Star luxury adventure lodge is truly remarkable.

Explora Patagonia

The 49-room Explora Patagonia, Chile, is located in the very heart of Patagonia in the unspoiled Torres del Paine National Park. Explora Patagonia, Chile, is the quintessential base for exploring the montage of ecosystems in Torres del Paine National Park. Despite its remote location, this lodge provides all essential luxuries with such subtly that the guest can marvel in this pristine environment without distraction. Sitting on the shores of Lake Pehoe for a most spectacular view, Explora’s amenities include open-air Jacuzzis with the Paine River in sight, heated pool, sauna, Chilean bar, and its own horse stable for a relaxing as well as eye-opening experience.

Eolo Patagonia

With only 17 suites, this simple, upscale lodge, located approx. 15 miles from El Calafate, is truly a heavenly ranch-style property. All rooms offer varying sweeping views of Lago Anita Valley, Ago Argentino, and Torres del Paine. Similar to other high-end lodges in Patagonia, Eolo offers extensive hiking, biking, and horseback riding activities in the surrounding picturesque areas. Please note, however, that Eolo does not offer excursions to Perito Moreno Glacier – we may offer this on a separate private excursion basis. The lodge includes a small indoor pool and a TV room for those who need a CNN fix. According to our most recent client who stayed here, this is the place for the most tender, delicious braised lamb in all of Patagonia!

Greetings Fellow Global Teen Travelers!

  • Based on my Francis Parker School’s April break schedule, Mom and I are unable to join my Dad in Patagonia.  With the intensive hikes he has planned, I would probably spend a lot more time in the lodges’ spas!
  • On the horizon we have London and Venice/Verona coming up!
